Verti-Cutting & Carbide blade test
First Products is currently testing a new carbide tip Verti-Cutter blade for the VC-60. We have received several requests for a Carbide Blade to extend Verti-cutting blade life. Testing to date proves the carbide blade provides a better quality of cut throughout the life of the blade. So not only does the blade last longer the quality of the cut stays consistent for the life of the blade. The added durability reduces tearing or ripping of the grass surface, produces a very clean cut and removes more thatch.
Considering the cost of replacing blades is not only in the price of the blade but also in the labor cost for maintenance extended blade life is desirable. We will keep this post up-dated on cost as we finalize the results.
If you have any comments on our current steel blades or carbide blades from previous experience please feel free to comment.
